"Part of my journey to becoming an artist is trying everything, learning how to do different techniques, and then taking what I liked about the experience and  applying it to other pieces. In my mind the only thing that is consistent in my work is inconsistency. I love to switch it up and keep myself entertained, that’s the only way to grow."

"Every day after work I’d go home and paint into the late night and eventually I began posting my work on instagram. Before I knew it I had people asking me if I sold my art. It all felt so natural and for me that was the craziest part. I had been in a state of survival for the longest time. I spent periods of my adolescent years in a group home, foster care and a shelter. The reason I touch that part of my life is to express the significance it was for me to experiencing such a natural reaction to discovering my passion and doing what I love. I still experience that same feeling of peace when I get lost creating art."

"I’d explain my art style as “street art“  and at times it has more of a “pop art“ look. I also enjoy textures and creating something a bit more abstract, which is kind of funny, because the techniques are so different but maybe that’s why I like it. Sometimes I try to bring the different styles together with paint pours as a backdrop and stencil work on top. "

"Pop up was such an incredible and unique  experience. It gave me a chance to really connect with clients in a personal way and it gave us, artists, a place to safely display our work. It also allowed us the the chance to work with so many crazy, talented individuals in all different walks of life. I’m so impressed with what those guys were able to accomplish. It was like walking into a dream or falling down Alice’s white rabbit hole. I’m super excited and definitely looking forward to seeing more from them. "

"I knew someone who was very close to me during a very important time in my life who really inspired me to explore art as a whole, and who showed me endless possibilities of work and designs. At first, it sounded far out of my reach and I never really understood that someone, in this day and age, could make a full-time job from painting."

" I knew I wanted to take a chance and try my hand at this. I’ll never forget the day I made that decision, I was in my car and I called my boss and explained to her my plan to pursue art. I was nervous and excited and a bit overwhelmed pulling the trigger. Her reaction lit such a fire under my ass as she was so excited and encouraging. That response really helped with my confidence.        "Every piece I make I give my full attention and energy too, big or small, mural or whatever my canvas might be at that time. It’s not uncommon for me to start a project and 50 hours into a piece completely cover all my work to start in a new direction, it’s not about the amount of time I put into the piece itself it’s about being able to properly portray my vision and making my costumers happy."
